Part L compliance is not complicated in principle. But in practice, juggling Reg 26A, fabric energy efficiency targets, and photovoltaic output calculations across a live project, it becomes one of the most time-consuming parts of a submission. Future Homes Standard adds a further layer of complexity that SBEM and manual cross-referencing were not designed to handle.
